I haven't started my field work yet but i do babysit a five year old girl. She is the cutest thing you could ever imagine and i have been watching her for the past four and a half years. This past weekend i noticed something in her behavior, on Friday she gave me no attitude problems so i told her she was perfect and was so good and that if she behaved the same way again tomorrow being Saturday that i would buy her a present for good behavior. Bribing has always worked in the past so it was worth a try. The next day she was also on her best behavior listened very well, no attitude, ate her dinner, took a bath, we played and for a change she helped clean up. I was very impressed so now i owe her a movie about a dog!
